On Tuesday, August 22, the talented Steph Hayes came to the studio for a special evening of filming.
While I led an Intuitive Painting workshop, Steph worked her magic as she captured us creating and the evolution of our pieces. It was remarkable to have these wonderful people gather and have an artist who’s work I greatly respect work on this project.

We may only be halfway through November but we sure have been busy in the studio!
Holiday shows are fast approaching and workshops have been going great. Along with Intuitive Painting workshops, we have introduced youth workshops for the adults who are young at heart.
I love watching adults as they begin working again with mediums they may of forgotten about.
But just don’t my word for it, check out the beautiful creations coming from these workshops.

Thank to all who have attended and plan on attending, because of you I am able to live my dream and share them with you.
Thank you <3

In honour of the first day of fall, you will be able to receive 10% off all thanksgiving workshops taking place on Saturday, October 1.
This special discount will automatically be added to your order upon completion of registration.

There is an exciting line up of youth and teen projects awaiting your child, I look forward to creating with them in the studio!

This past Friday night I had the pleasure of leading a wonderful group of ladies through an Intuitive Painting.
They gathered together to celebrate their dear friend’s birthday. It was wonderful to see everyone relax, laugh and create beautiful masterpieces!
Together we worked on each layer and witnessed our pieces slowly emerge as they took on a life of their own. Despite us all following the same steps, each painting had its own unique identity, which is a beautiful thing.

I was able to capture a few photos of the process and invite you to take a peak into this wonderful evening that was had.
If you are interested in hosting your own intuitive painting night or wishing to know more about teen and adult birthday parties, please send an email to art@briannagosselin.com.

I’ve teamed up with Kawartha Local once again to work on a unique project titled The Pollinators!
For this specific project, I have created 6 unique miniatures measuring 2.5″ x 2.5″ featuring various pollinators.

“Celebrate Summer with a pollinator themed gift box.

This collection of locally produced mini-gifts is perfect for the nature lover in your life.
There are two variations featuring two local artists.
Inside a locally made Kawartha treasure box you’ll find a one-of-a-kind wire wrapped crystal “bug” by Peterborough’s Ryan Kirby.
Or, choose the Brianna Gosselin option for a box with one of 6 different original 2.5″ pollinator miniatures.
Our friends at Urban Tomato provide a mix of their locally harvested annual and perennial seeds and the busy bees at OtonaBEE Apiary bring the package full circle with their delicious clover honey.”

Head on over to Kawartha Local today to pick yours up today!

This year for my 28th birthday I wanted to do something I love, while being surrounded by those I am thankful to have in my life.
So, on Monday, November 30, my partner and I hosted CommuniKitch (a dinner party) at the Red Garnet and invited everyone to come out and enjoy a warm meal created by the two of us. All proceeds from the evening in benefit of the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society.

I will admit, it was a dream come true.

I was able to spend the day in the kitchen making soup with dumplings, followed by homemade oatmeal cookies and apple crisp. My partner worked away on his Beef Carbonnade throughout the day, while the heavenly aromas filled our home.
My parents also played an important role in this event as they assisted in the kitchen and donated a large amount of the ingredients.

puppy-in-christmas-gift-boxI am so honoured and grateful for everyone who showed up to support our dinner and help us raise funds for such a worthy cause. My heart feels very full.
Because of everyone’s support, we were able to raise over 300 dollars! Thats right, THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS!
Which will be going to buy supplies and food for the animals at LAWS.
A very special thank you goes out to Kerri and Chad, co owners of the Garnet for giving us such a great venue to be in and for your generosity!
We will be sharing some pics of our adventure out to LAWS, taking place December 12 or 13, so stay tuned 😉
