I’ve teamed up with Kawartha Local once again to work on a unique project titled The Pollinators!
For this specific project, I have created 6 unique miniatures measuring 2.5″ x 2.5″ featuring various pollinators.

“Celebrate Summer with a pollinator themed gift box.

This collection of locally produced mini-gifts is perfect for the nature lover in your life.
There are two variations featuring two local artists.
Inside a locally made Kawartha treasure box you’ll find a one-of-a-kind wire wrapped crystal “bug” by Peterborough’s Ryan Kirby.
Or, choose the Brianna Gosselin option for a box with one of 6 different original 2.5″ pollinator miniatures.
Our friends at Urban Tomato provide a mix of their locally harvested annual and perennial seeds and the busy bees at OtonaBEE Apiary bring the package full circle with their delicious clover honey.”

Head on over to Kawartha Local today to pick yours up today!

Peterborough is an amazing community. I am reminded of this often, even more so when I see everyone come together for an incredible cause.
A week ago today I hosted an Intuitive Painting night at the Silver Bean Cafe in support of the YWCA Peterborough/Haliburton. I witnessed a group of women come together to create and was amazed by their creative spirits. To be surrounded with women from a variety of different backgrounds coming together in support of the YWCA was a beautiful thing.
I enjoyed watching their strength as they put paint to canvas and were supportive of one another.
From this event we were able to raise $550 to give to the YWCA, I am very grateful for everyone who came to this event to help make this possible.
It was the best way to finalize a month of creative giving from our YWCA Bean Up Series.

Take a sneak peak below to see the evening’s adventures and final creations.
