Teen Manga Portraits

Students will learn the basic techniques involved to create a manga character. We will cover facial features, proportions, colouring techniques and discover our own unique style.
Once completed, we will then frame our artwork.
On Tuesday, May 1, 2018 I will be officially launching my Etsy shop.
You will the opportunity to shop 24/7 from the comfort of your own home, to purchase greeting cards featuring my original artwork, lino cut prints, lino cut greeting cards, archival art prints and more!

Creative Wednesday – Bloom

Enjoy an evening of creativity as we explore Intuitive Painting and colour blocking. Students will explore the colour wheel and discover various colour themes to use in their paintings, with nature being our main inspiration.
Once completed, students will have a beautiful 8″ x 10″ painting on canvas to bring home.
A new set of greeting cards are now available at Watson & Lou, in addition to the studio.
Whimsical Night features 3 unique designs, showing creatures who frolic in the moonlight hours.
The dragonfly, the rabbit and the raven.
Cards come in sets of 5 are and are available for $15.
Woven Nest with Grace Mahoney

Create a sweet nest woven in the round with a variety of coloured threads and textured yarns. Techniques covered include stringing a round loom, weaving and yarn choices.
Complete your nest by adding your own unique design of beads and charms.
This workshop is for both beginners and those already familiar with the art of weaving. Techniques from this workshop can be applied to a variety of other weaving projects as well.
