Originally I was hoping to be able to take a local printmaking course in person, but with Covid, it made things a bit difficult. Especially when everything was cancelled. I did have a backup plan though, I had submitted a list of books to learn from and teach myself new techniques.
For anyone curious on what books I purchased, I have included the list below.
So far it has been glorious trying new techniques and experimenting, especially with fabric ink!
Yes, I will be creating clothing and hand sewn, handprinted kerchiefs, along with a few other surprises 😉
This will also be part of my goal to work with not for profits and have a percentage of the proceeds to benefit them. Something I feel very strongly about and believe in.
So for now, that’s what I have been up to these past few weeks in the studio and the rest of Summer. In addition to completing all your commission requests of course 😉
If you would like to collaborate on a special printmaking project, please don’t hesitate on sending me a message. I would love to work with you!
For now, here is a sneak peak of what I have been working on…
