Woven Nest Workshop

Woven Nest with Grace Mahoney

Monday, April 23

6:00 – 9:00 pm

Ages: 15+

$50 (with all supplies included)

Create a sweet nest woven in the round with a variety of coloured threads and textured yarns. Techniques covered include stringing a round loom, weaving and yarn choices.

Complete your nest by adding your own unique design of beads and charms.

This workshop is for both beginners and those already familiar with the art of weaving. Techniques from this workshop can be applied to a variety of other weaving projects as well.

Spring Term is live and accepting registrations!

I am thrilled to bring you an exciting new line up of workshops, featuring guest artists to the studio along with new courses.


We have the talented Cheryl Roberts from Fullin Woolens teaching the art of felting.

The lovely Grace Mahoney, guiding you through the process of wire art, fibre nests, along with weaving.

The calming Maggie Savage, introducing us to a new world of relaxing through essential oils.

Two new course led by yours truly exploring the art of colour theory and one on animal spirits.

Summer Garden was created with a love for animals and a wish to use my creative energy for something positive.

30% of every giclee print sold of Summer Garden will go directly to LAWS (Lakefield Animal Welfare Society).

Studio is closed from Feb 3 – Feb 12

The studio will be closed from Saturday, February 3 – Monday, February 12.

I will be going in for surgery and will be recovering during this time.

I’m already looking forward to getting back in to the studio and begin releasing more courses, workshops and new pieces for Spring!
