I hope everyone is having a beautiful Easter Weekend!

It may be a bit chilly here, but the sun is shining and for that I am thankful.

I drew up a sketch this morning of a bunny with some Spring flowers under the moon.

If you would like to colour it in, it is free for download here.

Or simply, right click and save the photo and print 🙂

Artsweek SHIFT Grant – The love of printmaking

This past Spring, I applied for an artist grant through EC3’s event Artsweek Shift 2 and was successful in my endeavours!

I am so extremely happy and proud to receive this grant, it means the world to me. It also means I will be able to take my printmaking even further.

Part of my grant application consisted on being able to further develop my skills, work with some not for profits to help raise funds through art projects, working with local businesses to create promotional materials and creating more greeting card designs

A special collaboration with Plant Goals and local artists!

With the pandemic causing a severe lockdown earlier this year, I wanted to connect with a local business and fellow artists. This was a great way to come together as a community and offer our clients something unique, while trying to show support to a business we all loved in our town, Plant Goals.

Brooklin Holbrough, Miguel Hernandez Autorino and myself came together as a small collective to bring you themed greeting cards. We offered unique designs for Mother’s day and then again for Father’s day, with each day having a different design.

Easter Wishlist at Watson and Lou

With Easter just around the corner, I have been searching for the ideal gifts for the Easter Bunny to bring.

And the Easter bunny isn’t just coming for the little ones this year! Nope, they are going to come visit my loved ones of all ages. After everything we have been going through, why not spread the cheer?

With that in mind, I have been browsing the Watson and Lou online shop (a local Ptbo owned business), featuring so many unique and beautiful items. Not only does shopping here support a local business, but also supports all the talented makers they feature.

So really, its a win win all around!

SPCA National Cupcake Day Fundraiser

I’m baking a difference for animals in need by participating in National Cupcake Day™ for SPCAs & Humane Societies!

I am raising urgently-needed funds to support animals in need in my local community, who need it more now than ever.

Because of COVID-19, we can’t celebrate National Cupcake Day together with a cupcake party, but I am participating in a cupcake painting show and sale, and I hope you will consider donating online to support me as I create to make a difference for animals in need!

The Love of Home Series

The Love of Home Series was created as a symbol of finding warmth from within.

As we find ourselves spending more time indoors, finding warmth and peace from within our home has been more important than ever before. Personally, its having my best friend Honey (an english cocker spaniel) by my side has been my saving grace.
Which is why $10 from every piece sold in this series, will be donated to a local animal charity – LAWS.
